Principles of Orthographic Projection
In this section you will learn about the types of projection used including First and Third angle methods and the differences between them. You will also be introduced to the principal Planes of Reference and how they are used to create Orthographic Views of objects.
Student Activities
In this section you will learn through completing a number of activities and questions. You should first familiarise yourself with the principles of Orthographic Projection in the previous section and apply these principles to the questions presented. You will develop your Visualisation Skills through these tasks which will require higher order thinking to complete.
Examination Questions
In this section you will deepen your learning through the completion of Junior Certificate past examination questions. You should begin by completing Ordinary Level questions initially before moving on to Higher Level questions to further develop your skills.
